Welcome!

I'm so glad to see you here!

Please read  ALL before ordering.

Sorry, it's a bit long winded, but it's all stuff you need to know!

February 15th
Sale opens at 12 NOON EST

Please be aware, I am a very small grower and tubers are in limited quantities, as I only grow a couple of each variety. There will be a second sale near the end of March with the extras of my own stock.  (There will be some goodies there I am holding back for the moment).    Cuttings will be sold in April & May.  Orders can be combined.  Please  check out the floral notecards and greeting cards and add some to your list!

Website is for viewing only and not online sales.

I will be taking all orders by email,

curlygirlgardening@gmail.com

Choose your favourites, make your wish list and send your order when the

sale opens.  To be fair to all, I will not accept orders before noon.

I will confirm the receipt of your email immediately, then follow up

within 12-24 hrs. for confirmation of your order.

Do not send payment until I have confirmed your order.

Canadian sales only.

Please include with your order:

Name, Address, Phone Number and note Shipping or Pickup

Please don't assume I have your info or know whether you are picking up or shipping.  Searching things out only makes the process longer for everyone.

Payment via E-transfer or credit card will be required within

12 hours of CONFIRMING your order.

curlygirlgardening@gmail.com

Payment for shipping fees will be required when orders are packed & ready to ship.   Please be aware, shipping can vary from $20-35 depending on your location & size of order.  And its mostly about location.  So yes, shipping 1 tuber or 10, costs about the same!  (so just buy 10)  Shipping via Canada Post.

As like other sales, this is a PRE-SALE, meaning, you are ordering something that you are hoping to get, probably will, but since this is a perishable item, (and we know things can happen to tubers in storage, or didn't get an eye on a tuber we thought we had an eye) then you must know  there is always a possibility that part of your order may not make it.   I pushed back my sale this year, and was harsh on my dividing and set aside a bigger "just in case" stock, than I had last year, so that hopefully, when it comes to shipping time, everything is good!  You will of coarse be refunded for any part of your order that fails.

Cuttings

In April & May, when cuttings are ready to go, I will offer them up for sale for immediate pickup or shipping.  I found it difficult last year to time the cuttings with tuber shipping and keeping people happy, so they will be sold & shipped at a different time.  If you want to purchase cuttings later, and combine the order that is fine too, just know you may have to wait.

Local dahlia lovers, I will once again have my May sale with hundreds of cuttings and LOTS of unicorns!

Keep in touch for more on the cuttings.

2024 Cuttings List

And a few more things....

-I do the very best I can in regards to the health of my plants, sterile cutting processes when picking blooms & dividing tubers.  Still, diseases are abundant and once planted in your garden it can no longer be proven as to where that disease came from.  If you notice a problem with a cutting or tuber before its been planted out, please let me know and I'll make it right.

-As the season goes on and plants are blooming, and you've gotten the wrong dahlia, please let me know and I will credit you.  Mistakes happen, I'm human.

-Once an order has been paid for, there are no cancellations/refunds.

-Shipping will be in April & early May, as weather permits.

-You can combine as many orders as you would like!

Thanks for supporting my dahlia addiction.

I love all of you!!

                                                                                               Kim

Please be sure to check out my Greeting Cards, all photographed by me. Many of them are on sale at clearance prices!

Dahlia Growing Partner, Julia Ruhl
Dahlia Growing Partner, Kim Callaghan of Wild Acres, near Omemee, Ontario

Cathy Bartolic is the owner of Perennial Petals, a boutique flower farm, offering bouquet subscriptions, workshops & special events, outside Stouffville, Ontario.  Cathy has been in business since 1992, and for many, many years, was also the Executive Director of Ontario Farm Fresh.  This gal knows her stuff! I've know Cathy for many years and happy to call her my friend.

Cathy is offering bulk quantities of our classic, workhorse dahlias.

You can follow Cathy on her website as well as IG & FB.

Julia Ruhl is a home gardener who loves to attract pollinators to her garden.  She has a huge collection of singles, collarettes & anemones.  Julia is a biologist, and formerly worked for the CFIA, monitoring agricultural products entering Canada - like our dahlias.  Julia works hard in her garden to keep it disease free.

Julia is offering her collection of anemones & collarettes.

At Wild Acres, Kim, and her young family, grow flowers for bouquet subscriptions, arrangements, weddings and special events. She grows without the use of chemicals, keeping things natural.  As a new grower Kim is learning quickly  just how fast dahlias multiply and the addiction behind them.

Kim is offering bulk quantities of our classic, workhouse dahlias as well as a few extras.

You can follow Kim on her website as well as IG & FB.

I am only going to send an email once in a blue moon. But when I do, it will be important! Stay in the know!
